the Ute's program. Bunch of babies if you ask me. BYU went 4-9 in 2017. A season that included a 7 game losing streak, a shutout against LSU where we had 97 total yards of offense, and a home loss to Umass. And yet we still managed to average 56k fans at LES.
On top of all that, we were still independent and lacked the stability, the money, and the program prestige that came with being in a P5 conference. All the while we had to sit and watch our arrogant rivals to our north rub their P5 status in our faces while having a massive losing streak against them. Every game in this losing streak, aside from one, was by a single score. It included some very flukey, painful losses (Bradley's knee down after INT, multiple botched field goal attempts, Taysom stuffed on 2pt try, and of course turnover-pacolypse in the Vegas Bowl).
BYU FANS ENDURED ALL OF THAT.
All it took for Utah's program to fall apart was losing three games...talk about fragility. Give me freaking a break. Their pride and arrogance since joining the Big12 led to this and they 100% deserve it.
