So 2 years ago I got in an accident that was ruled my fault, but I’m 99.999% positive it wasn’t and I don’t understand how it was ruled that way, and I’m curious if it’s too late to look into getting things corrected or if it’s even worth it.
Long story short, I was going straight on a yellow light and a car turning left went before I had passed and I hit them. Totaled both cars. I entered the intersection before the light turned red. The lady was 7-8 months pregnant and had a panic attack… they even brought an ambulance to make sure she/the baby was okay. I’m almost positive that’s why it was ruled as my fault, but it’s been eating at me and our insurance is higher because of it. Is this something worth looking into? I’d appreciate any help/advice. TIA.
