We have wiggle room to get to Arlington, but there’s a real possibility that BYU, Colorado, KState and ISU all finish 8-1 in league play.
The only common opponent across all 4 teams is the Jayhawks. If we’re all 8-1 and that’s our one loss (or ISU’s) then we’re out.
After that it’s going to end up going to conference strength of schedule which probably gets KState out of the 4 way tie then resets to a new tiebreaker with us, Colorado and ISU. We would win that tiebreaker because of record vs common opponents (assuming all best Kansas). If our one loss came to ASU or Houston we’d win by sweeping all the common opponents. If it came against a shared opponent, the tiebreaker would keep going by win % against shared opponents by conference place and that would get us in because we vest KSU and those two would’ve lost.
