didn't initially think the ball was coming to him. He was actually trying to figure out who the ball was going to which is why you see him make that late break to catch the ball that helped spring him for the TD.


That was a risky and courageous throw by Jake to toss it to a guy who thought he was only the decoy, but Lassiter had altered his assignment once he saw nobody was running with him on defense (so he wasn't dragging any defenders with him to help spring JoJo), he sat down in the hole in the zone, and magic happened.
