Not just because not working is awesome, but because throughout his career, his goal each and every day was to find a way for his team to minimize possessions and play the least basketball possible.
In retiring, he has found the terminal endpoint of his less-is-more approach to the sport: simply not playing or coaching it at all.
Maybe he just watched WarGames, or maybe this came to him in a dream, but he has finally found a way out of his personal basketball-drenched hell.
I wish him all the best as he enjoys release from his torment.
