Don't get me wrong - I like the doubts, don't mind what the pundits say. In fact, I think they are being honest, thoughtful ('They' = Forde, McMurphy, even Trevor Matich) and I agree with some of their points.
But confirmation bias fascinates me - I think it looms large in sports analysis, especially college sports with pre-season ratings, blue blood programs, etc. People cherry pick facts, apply them inconsistently, etc.
I think there are some legit worries about BYU's offensive consistency, especially around the run game. I hope this next game is an LJ, Moa and Ropati rout. I think the offense is getting better and better.
Meanwhile, the defense is something to behold.
