Now it's a Winter Storm Warning?
WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THURSDAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT FRIDAY NIGHT
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 18
inches with locally higher accumulations in excess of 20 inches
for the upper Cottonwoods.
* WHERE...Wasatch Mountains South of I-80.
* WHEN...From 6 PM Thursday to midnight MDT Friday Night.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult
at times.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain is likely below 9000 feet through much
of Thursday. A cold front will bring a transition to snow Thursday
evening, with the highest snowfall rates Thursday night through
Friday morning.
