His buddy’s parents pay him a few bucks to read and write reports on books on like finance, management, history, etc…stuff that is practical but not exactly interesting for a teen.

I think it’s a reasonable idea.

All I’ve got is:
- Psychology of Money
- Seven Habits

He already makes money doing extra physical labor, so you can spare the bloviating.
