Caveat...Injuries still could derail the season, but to this point we haven't lost anyone for the sason.

Nd it has mostly to do with the offense.

1. BYU doesn't make mistakes. They have minimized turnovers and commit very few penalites. In other words they are well coached and don't beat themselves, especially on penalties.
2. Having Rppati and Martin back should make the offense that much better. Moa, Nawahinae, Davis, Haunga all did a great job filling in and can do so again, but Martin and Rppati give BYU an added dimension. Furthermore when they are there it opens up the play action pass. I read or heard somewhere that when Rrtzlaff throws out of play action is efficiency is north of 160.
3. BYU's red zone offense is really good. They score TD's on most of their red zone trips. Considering how often the defense has forced field goals or gotten takeaways when opposing offenses are in the red zone, BYU's effiency is pretty awesome and gives them an advantage.

And on defense, this team is a big play defense. They get at least 2 or 3 big play momentum turning defensive plays a game, Last Saturday that was on full display. The pick at the 1, and the 4th down and inches stop were the turning point in the game. And then in the 3rd quarter the turnovers on back to back posessions finished off Arizona. We all worried that what happened versus K-State was not somethign that could be repeated, but they have had stretches like that in all three conference games.

Hoefully they can keep keep jup the focus and remain hungry, humbled and keep feeling disrespected.
