I for one am extremely glad my dad started taking me to games at a young age.
Was I the best kid ever at the games and always allow him to pay attention to what was happening? Definitely not. But those times are some of the best times I have ever spent with him. I remember the long boring drives to the game listening to the greenhouse show on KSL and listening to the postgame on the way home. I’m glad my dad made it a priority to include me in the things he cares about

I took my young kid to the game yesterday. Did I get to “fan” the same way that I do when I’m there with someone else? No. But I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything. Being a fan with him there is even better. He definitely had his moments throughout the game but he loved it. And today he has talked about how awesome it was. I’m glad I was able to build that experience with him and not make him wait to be older.

We never know how long we have on this little marble. If we wait we might not have opportunities to make those memories.
