In case you are wondering, here is how you can become a good fan:

-Cheer for your team.
-Don’t publicly disparage our players or coaches.
-Don’t call for people’s jobs. The AD will take care of that when it’s appropriate.
-Show up for games if you are close enough to go. Wear the right color. Don’t tell the people in front of you to sit down, just get up and cheer with them.
-Hate Utah just slightly less than you love BYU.

This is the right approach. Then when you get that magical season every once in whenever, it’s magic because you were always there believing that we were always just a few calls away from a better result.

Last year we were 5-2 and then the wheels came off, although we did lose a few really close ones to Kansas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. This year, we may be an injury or two away from complete derailment. Whatever happens in the second half of the season, be a good fan. Control your toxic thinking and life outlook. It just brings everyone down.
