I’ve been playing around with this scenario projector (link below) and I think to make the championship game we are going to need to only have 1 loss or fewer. And even with 1 loss we might be out. The tricky thing is that a key tiebreaker in the Big 12 is the win % of conference opponents and the way it’s shaking out, our schedule is set up to feature some of the weaker teams in the big 12 when comparing our schedule to those of TT, KS St, or Iowa St. So if we end up in a 3-way tie with any of those schools, there is a good chance we’re left out.

With that said, it’s so much fun to worry about championship tie breakers instead of whether or not we’ll make a bowl!
