OFFENSE: A consistent, effective run game. If we have this, then our offense will be SO much more consistent. When you run the ball for 2-3 yards per carry and you HAVE to rely on the pass game (and the defense knows it) it's going to be streaky. We saw that in the 2nd half vs Baylor where we were averaging around 2 yards per carry, whereas in the 1st half we averaged 5 yards per carry. Hopefully LJ is our answer here.

DEFENSE: Sacks on the QB. We have 10 sacks on the season and half of those are from the first 2 games. We've been getting pressure on the QB a decent amount but we've been coming just short of getting sacks. If this defense can figure out how to consistently get sacks, they're going to be even more special than they already are. Huge improvement compared to last season though. Unfortunately Fifita was extremely good at scrambling and avoiding sacks, so if we can at least rush him and force him into bad throws this week I'll call that a W.
