Why is AI currently replacing mostly white-collared jobs and not blue-collared
ones?
My guess is it's because most of the cutting-edge AI is done in the United States, which dominates software and doesn't have as much manufacturing and hence electrical and mechanical engineering prowess. So we don't have that many gadgets that move things around.
