My family wants a cat for Christmas, but there are a ton of coyotes where we live. If the cat gets out, it is as good as dead. How feasible is it to try and keep a cat indoors with small children who are more likely to leave the backdoor open? Do invisible fences work? Any other ideas are appreciated. Maybe we get a rabbit.
