Top 7 in Alphabetical order: Boskovic Catchings Demin Fouss Hall Keita Saunders
Next 3: Baker, Knell, Mag. (I watched Baker an hour before the game and he was making pretty much every shot he took. Swishes. Variety of shots. Was something to watch. He'll have some nice games.)

Next 2: Crawford, Stewart. (And they are good. Crawford had an amazing steal against Baker early on. Super quick. Got up super high on a deflection he made. Stewart is so dang athletic. Want to see him play football too.)

Next 2: Kozlowski, Triplett. (Kozlowski showed nice touch. Triplett is built! Can see why he was second team all-conference and Snow College male athlete of the year as a Soph. Happened to run into him outside the arena afterward and told him he looked like he could play defensive end. He said he's actually thought about it. I told him I would talk to Kalani for him.)

Also an hour before the game, on the opposite end of Baker, Saunders and Catchings were getting put through a big workout with Charles Abouo and an army of student manager types rebounding for them.

It was super fun to juxtapose the two. Saunders as you can imagine, was going all out 100 miles per hour every drill for the whole 30 minutes or so. Any normal person would have been absolutely gassed after that. Would have no legs left for the actual game.

Catchings on the other hand was just chill, nonchalant, and effortlessly flowed and glided through the workout. Neither of them barely broke a sweat which was amazing to me cuz I've always been one who sweats when working out.

They would both do the same things, alternating the same exact drill back and forth over and over again. Then move on to the next one. They were like fire and ice. A great combo.

Saunders had a quicker release on catch and shoot threes and shot a little higher of a percentage on them and jumps high on every shot. He had a good variety of shots around the rim too. Layups, reverse layups, floater, short jump shot.

Catchings was the better 3-point shooter off the dribble.

If you didn't know either one, it would be hard to know which one might have more potential until they did a pick and roll drill. Saunders finished nicely around the rim. No dunks. Even though he can obviously dunk. But then when Catchings would get it, it was like amazing dunks every time. Head up around the rim. Easily, effortlessly. 1 foot, 2 feet, one hand, two hands, different kinds of dunks. Jump from close, jump from far. All while looking like he wasn't even trying. Imagine when he (and Demin for that matter) gets some muscle on him.

The two of them together (Saunders and Catchings) at the start of the second half on the white team, seemed like a way better than expected combination.

Speaking of Demin from a second ago, I had high expectations and he even exceeded those during the scrimmage. Can't believe how good of a passer he is. And covers so much ground so quickly.

Boskovic looked SO good to me. I can write about him later.

To me, we looked like we have the potential to be like some of the really good Gonzaga teams.

Btw, Charles Abouo looked as built as ever and looks like he could still play professionally right now.
