After Pope had left and it felt like the basketball team just kept getting bad news after bad news. We didn't know who our new coach would be, Khalifa was transferring. Dallin Hall was flying to Kentucky to meet with Pope and Louisville. Richie Saunders and his wife were in Lexington being greeted at the airport by Mark Pope and his wife.

And Trevin freaking Knell came out and said. "I'm staying. I'm a Cougar."

I'll always remember his loyalty. Not to say that I'm not glad that ultimately Richie and Dallin came back, but Trevin Knell never wavered. He stood with us when it looked like we might have no one.
