It's crazy how much the new playoff format has hurt the top of the NL
After the first two years, the NL bye teams were 0-4. And not only that, but they have hardly looked competitive.
Third year and we'll if that changes, but Phillies are looking really flat, and Padres have the momentum in the other series too.
And what's weird is the last two years the Phillies have come in hungry and destroyed the Braves, but now give them the bye and the story does a 180.
