5 years ago everyone said ‘AI is everywhere go learn AI and anyone will hire you for 100k plus’

And then everyone learned AI and by the time those students graduated the hot job market was gone.

Now it seems to me that students are being told ‘CS is too saturated, get some business skills and go for PM jobs, your business skills will make you invaluable compared to all those CS grads, plus PM roles pay 100k plus’. I know a couple sophomore and juniors going for this. We’ll see how the market turns out in 3-5 years.
