daughters U6 team as well as my sons U4 team. This is my third season coaching my daughter and first for my son. I’m no soccer expert but at this age just getting them in the right direction is success lol. I have loved coaching their teams.
My son has been killing it! He’s scored probably 10-12 goals a game. But essentially in his league if you aren’t spinning in circles or looking for butterflies then it’s pretty easy to score lol.
My daughter’s team has done well. We are currently 5-1. But it’s still mob ball and they constantly steal the ball from each other or block their own teammates progress. What are some good drills to help them spread out through the field? I don’t think they are good enough yet to pass effectively against a defense so perhaps this will just come with time/experience. But think that’s kind of the next piece for the team to progress.
