Peeps living in Florida, be safe this week....
I lived in FL for three years, experienced Irma, Maria, and the buildup to Dorian. Not a hurricane expert by any means, but I definitely became an amateur meteorologist while I was living in FLL.

Official info for storms come from NHC/NOAA, but Tropical Tidbits is a great resource to use for information, and what to expect.

Levi, the site operator, puts together a daily video (sometimes twice in a day), but he puts it into layman's terms, easy for people to understand. He also has satellite imagining, and forecasting models-- it's a great tool to use for your decision making.
