If they can get bowl eligibility after these 3 everything is just gravy with a good chance to get to 8 wins.

If BYU wins 2 of 3 we can start talking conference title game aspirations for real.

If they win 3 of 3 we can start talking CFP for real.

If BYU goes 0-3 things get scary and everything tightens up like it did on the back half of last year the rest of the year becomes about getting that last win and it’s likely a disappointing season.
