This happened last night at 9pm… I was working outside for about four hours and then came in and moved two heavy boxes upstairs. They were long and lanky (beds frames for the kids) and probably around 250 lbs each. I picked them up and took them up four or five stairs at a time. It took me a minute or two and when I was done I was really out of breath. I was already tired from the work outside, but not dehydrated…as I had been drinking a lot of electrolytes while working.
This was definitely a heavy lift but I lift weights on a regular basis (squats, deadlifts etc) so nbd.
Anyway, I’m heading to the shower and out of nowhere I get this massive headache. It was super sudden and shockingly painful. Within 5 seconds it went from 0-100. Literally no headache to me leaning against the wall so I don’t fall over. The only time I get headaches is when I have Covid.
I looked it up and there are some write ups on exersion headaches and something called a thunderclap headache. Anyone have any experience with this?
Is this ER worthy? Some of the stuff on the web say to go to the ER. I still have a pretty strong headache today and have been tired all day but I also was not able to sleep very well last night.
Thoughts?
