Debacterol + salt water rinses (or other antiseptic rinse) several times daily.

I typically use Listerine. Burns like the dickens but seems to clear it up quick

Rinsing with warmsalt water. Debacterol works but it smells pretty bad.

Not a dentist but warm salt water with a little bit of baking soda mixed in works very well for me.

Lysine tablets and blue Listerine mouthwash.
