If Darnold puts together a top-5 QB season do they trade JJ McCarthy?
It probably won’t happen, but can you let Darnold walk (or tag and trade him or whatever would happen) for a guy that hasn’t ever taken an NFL snap (and probably won’t be good considering the hit rate on first round QBs)?
