Here is my biggest issue with the referees (other than rewarding the flopper). BYU ran a play, Baylor called time out as soon as the play ended. Then we had the flopper penalty.
At that point, Baylor asked for and received their time out back.
If there is no time out, the clock should have started on the ready-for-play following the walk-off of the penalty. To me it looked like Baylor got both. Clock stoppage and their time out back.
Am I wrong?
To me that is one reason Kalani was so torqued off at the referees. They can't have both.
