Something I hadn't noticed or thought much about during the first time watching Severance
*Warning there could be some spoilers*

Hadn't really thought about the whole process of the birth of the innie or analyzed that too much.

Obviously this makes sense because during the first watch you're just kind of trying to figure out in what direction they are going to take the show and familiarize yourself with the world.

Sidenote* I also remember also during the first watch there was plenty of good feedback from CB about being patient because the show develops slowly.

Anyhow back to the birth of the innie. So the innie is born laid upon a table and then probed to see about how much they can remember about the outside world. With all the intro questions the innies are asking to the newly born innie what they are doing is testing the Lumen hardware and providing real-time feedback to those that are monitoring them.

I think 🤔 that the whole birth concept it something interesting that probably can be examined further because it shows that everyone uses severance for different reasons. Like people birth an innie through severance and then activate their innies to make their lives easier like the senators wife who seemingly used an innie to deal with the trauma of giving birth.
