Sac State chose a good day to announce a new stadium & intention to play in FBS

Considering how the PAC is trying to position itself among the G5s I'm not sure they would elevate an FCS team to their level. But the MWC would jump at the chance to get another CA school in the conference footprint, especially after having just lost two CA schools to the PAC. And with Sac Republic trying to get into MLS for years now, a combined stadium with Sac State seems like a project with potential.

That would be my dream. If Sac Republic's rendering of the planned stadium does happen it would be PERFECT for sac state football.

Commuting shouldn't be an issue, wonder if the school could sponsor shuttles from campus to the stadium.
