Season. After taking a deep dive into the WNBA and watching 30 plus games this season, I don’t think it’s sustainable. Season starts in May and I think the CC hype is going to fade significantly over the next 7 months. She was a fun rookie to watch and her passing was very good but people aren’t going to tune in to watch her passing. Her 3 point shooting wasn’t great, it honestly was a little mediocre to tell the truth and her defense was horrendous. Her scoring was ok but not eye popping

If she doesn’t start off the season hitting close to 40% from three and if she’s not putting up eye popping scoring numbers I think people are going to move on.

Paige Bueckers is the next great player coming from college but she’s not going to generate the hype that CC does.

Could be wrong, there has been great growth in the game, but I’m not sure it can be sustained, the product needs to be better. They need a few Caitlin Clark’s and they aren’t walking through that door anytime soon
