WAC = 9,
MWC = 9,
Pac10 = 10
You would think the 28 west coast schools can make 2 viable conferences.

Or 28 teams in Mtn and Pacific time zone conferences.

Of those conferences.
8/10 Pac10 schools went east
3/9 MWC schools are now in the Big12
2/9 Wac schools are in CUSA with Idaho going down to FCS

Which just leaves 14/28 schools left to form 2 West coast conferences.

13/28 of those teams are in conferences with east coast teams.
