Figured this was as good a day as any to discuss the sport of bull riding
For some reason my feed started showing clips from the Mexican version, where guys are tied to the bull on their feet. The goal is to stay on till the bull stops bucking. Predictably horrific injury, paralysis, even death follow. Not a lot of info but 1 in 25 die in Mexico and about 1 in 70 in America.

In America it’s the highest injury rate of any sport and the top PBR riders make an average salary of 179k on a career length of 3 years. Head injuries, spine injuries, etc are common.

Why would anyone participate in this? Not worth it
