McMurphy says that AFA and UNLV will each received $25M+ to stay in the MWC.
That will come at the expense of the five other schools.
The original agreement, which USU declined to sign, would have given every school $10M. The agreement required unanimous approval to become valid. It was voided when USU did not sign.
The MWC will give AFA and UNLV the equivalent of 4-5 times the annual media rights distribution.
That can’t sit eill with the others.
