He wasn't always coaching at under KW while at Utah and he has a lot of experience on offense as well. He coached under McBride and Urban Meyer and had his own head coaching job for many years at Weber State which I think probably developed him as a coach more than any other coaching job.

A lot of Utah fans like to remind us that any success we have comes from Utah and their coaching influences. But I like to remind them that KW comes from BYU as much as I hate being associated with the Utes. He started out as a GA under Lavell.
