i spoke with a friend today about the insanity that's happening with NIL money and high school recruiting. It's the wild west. This thing is going to blow up in a lot of people's faces at some point.

One thing I took away was that recruiting services and people are now basically bribable. Four star kids make a ton more NIL money than 3 star kids. The cost to bump a kid from a 3 to a 4 star is currently about $30k on the low. The service offered basically a "sign now, pay later" thing so that the $ for the star bump was due upon the first NIL check.
