Officiating needs to be overhauled. NIL needs to be overhauled. Conferences need to be reined in and brought into conformity. The NFL needs CFB to thrive, and I think that means stepping in and creating a system that brings CFB into the modern age. There needs to be a tiered system with 64 teams (split into 2 conferences) at each level with relegation and promotion. There needs to be salary caps for coaches and players. There needs to be oversight to stop cheating. There needs to be no more stupid, frivolous bowl games. A true 8 team playoff at the top level. Two 8 team playoffs (one per conference) in the 2nd and 3rd tier with the champions of each playoff getting promoted, and the worst teams at each level getting relegated.
