After the incredible game on Saturday, I've seen a lot of attention on BYU. We're in the national conversation again. Some are including us in the playoff hunt. It's a lot of fun.
I've seen a lot of people calling it over-exaggeration. Many are cautioning not to get too excited yet, but I say enjoy it for what it is. We have a really solid team at this point and we've enjoyed a level of success thus far that very few of us saw coming.
I think this team has the potential to go far this season. I'm not sure we'll be in the running for the CFP but I'm happy that we will very likely end up in a bowl game with a winning record. Regardless, I think it's important to enjoy what we have at this point. Ride the hype train for a bit. Have fun with the national conversations regardless of whether or not you think we'll end up winning the natty. Bask in the afterglow of Saturday's wonderful victory. It was a game and atmosphere I haven't seen in awhile - a rare experience I'm just happy to have enjoyed.
I still have tempered expectations for this season, but for now I'm enjoying the cool breeze through my hair as I ride the hype train through endless fields of royal blue and white.
