of the schools out. I think it may end up being worth the cost, but I really don't know. Small conferences are going to have their own problems. Air Force and New Mexico type schools probably would have been beneficial to have. I don't think that the PAC champion is going to be the G6 representative in the playoffs all that often.
I maintain that the correct and dignified move was a reverse merger with the MWC at the end of the NCAA grace period. The savvy cutthroat move would have been convincing enough MWC member schools to vote to dissolve the conference, then inviting them to the PAC. The way they did things was expensive, bad form, and still did not work as intended. I lost respect and any feelings of sadness for them with their move.
Also, the Big 12 should have absolutely no interest in any of the PAC schools. Especially SDSU. What a terrible conference mate they've been to the other schools in their conference the last 10+ years.
