It seems that the Mountain West doesn't have the rules that the Pac-12 did.

Oregon State and Washington State have been able to hold the conference together by a thread and collect exit fees and contract revenue.

The Mountain West can be dissolved by a 3/4 vote.

So, what happens when the Pac-12 takes two more (UNLV and Utah State) and Air Force either goes to the Pac-12 or the American?

Can you invite enough Mountain West teams so there's no conference to pay exit fees to?

Kind of sucks that Wazzu and Oregon State go from being the two teams left in the cold to kicking two or three more teams out into the cold.



I'm really not sure the Pac-12 is getting much of a deal here, basically paying $150 million to kick the bottom three or four teams out of the Mountain West?

Going to be messy.
