have an LDS colleague & ASU fan that always likes to talk to me about BYU
He said he wants to cheer for BYU but just can't because BYU doesn't want to promote LDS quarterbacks anymore. Said why can't they be like ASU, who plays an LDS qb. lol
Then he tells me with a straight face that the other reason why he can't support BYU is because they favor Polynesians. Yes, he is serious about both comments.
Side note, he had a brother play for BYU back in the days. Many here would recognize the name.
