Question I’ve been thinking about that I saw on Reddit, what % of golfers are
breaking 100 if they actually follow the rules 100% and play from their appropriate tees? I’d qualify it as a golfer is someone who owns their own clubs and books their own normal tee times (so exclude charity and work scrambles and people who tag along like once or twice a year).

In Utah I play anywhere from Utah to Weber county, this year I feel like I’m actually starting to see a decline in the Covid golfers so it has been better than the last few years, but I’d put it somewhere like 20%? Only 1/5 rounds do I play with someone who I think they are good enough to be breaking 100 and seem to be following the rules, 40-50 rounds played with randoms this year. Pre Covid I felt like it was closer to 50%.

I bet this number probably jumps up to like 80-90% at the private courses, but I haven’t played them enough to really say for sure. What do you think?

(Also shameless plug if anyone has country club connections let me know I’d love to come play)
