BYU Defense on par with 1996, 2006, 2012
A lot of season still to play, but so far, statistically this year’s defense is performing on par with the best defenses in BYU history:

- 0.75 TDs allowed per game
- 12.8 points a game (2006 and 2012 allowed 14 ppg)
- 269 total yards allowed (2012 team - 266, 2006 - 319)
