For him. I think today he confirmed that he’s improved. I think Avery Johnson is the better athlete between the two but Jake was able to not turn it over and Avery did and that is huge.

Jake reminds me of Trent Dilfer and the Baltimore Ravens. Trent was talented enough to generate drives but more importantly he didn’t turn the ball over and new that with Baltimore’s D he didn’t need to win the game, he just needed to manage the game and not turn it over. The defense was good enough to keep them in the game and win the game.

Jake needs to do the same. It’s not all on his shoulders. Manage the game, make some plays, know when to eat it and play another down, or throw it away. Just don’t turn it over.
