I got a challenge for you, CB...

Back in 2014, I went to the BYU/Boise game. It wasn't a fun game... But I had an AWESOME time there because the BSU fans by us were SO welcoming. I know that isn't the case with all of them, but the ones that were there by us that day were so classy and awesome.

We weren't in the visitors section, so we were super surrounded. Yet my dad and I felt very welcomed, especially when the ones sitting behind us bought us some donuts from the concessions stand. They were delicious, by the way.

It had a huge impact on me. Since then, I've loved Boise State and want them to win every game except when we play them (before that game I HATED them) . I've only had great interactions with their fans since and never any negative ones.

It inspired me to try to pay it forward with opposing fans at LES. I try to find a group of opposing fans that aren't in the visitors section (usually a family with kids if possible), and I buy them a CougarTail and welcome them to Provo. I did it against Boise in 2021, Baylor in 2022, and TTech in 2023. I'm gonna do it today too.

If you get a chance, I challenge you to welcome some KState fans tonight if they end up by you. You don't have to buy them anything but go out of your way to thank them for coming and make them want to come back!
