Let's suppose a traditional nuclear family: you have one parent (traditionally the dad) who has a full-time job working 40-45 hours a week in the office, a stay-at-home parent (traditionally the mom) who stays home full time, and a few kids (aged about 7 to 14 or so).

I know there are different philosophies about how much housework and yardwork and other chores should be done by each parent. What is your opinion? I'm talking general expectation here (such as perhaps how you would have it distributed in a chore chart if you assigned each chore/task to a person). For the purposes of this poll, let's say that the kids' contributions fall under the stay-at-home parent's part of it, since the stay-at-home parent is the one coordinating/enforcing the chores getting done, so a 75/25 split would mean the stay-at-home parent and the kids are responsible for 75% of the work, the working parent is responsible for the other 25%.
