I have to buy a new work car. For those of you that pay attention to details
like car models, can you please make some suggestions?

My last two cars have been Acura MDX's. I have really loved the car. Could get another one and be happy. Also thought about a Ford Explorer. Needing to be in that $50Kish new car price range, but I can pay out of my paycheck if I go higher. So far it hasn't been worth it to me to do that so I stick to the budget. Before I had a work car, I primarily owned economy cars like Corollas, CRV's, etc. but I did own a Toyota 4 Runner and loved that car too (although I probably wouldn't be a big of a fan of the truck suspension - my old age likes the car suspension better).

The thing I really love about my MDX is the power. I understand that a Honda Pilot is essentially the same car but not the same engine/power. Wouldn't mind saving some bucks if that isn't true. I don't think I would enjoy going back to a wimpy engine like my previous economy cars. The MDX has spoiled me.

The time frame is early November, so I am going to start going out and checking things out. TIA for any suggestions. I am really ignorant on the subject and I tend to just be lazy and do the easy decision...the same thing.
