to negate a mobile QB like Avery Johnson. Jack Kelly is as fast as any QB we'll face. He reads plays well as a spy and closes exceptionally fast. He is one of the reasons why I'm as confident as I am about BYU's chances in this game. He is an NFL caliber LB.
I've watched every Kansas State game this year (wife is a K-State grad) and I think Jennings from SMU is actually very similar to Avery Johnson. Our game plan against SMU worked well.
If BYU can limit turnovers on offense, I think they win 31-20.
