Already down to 7 members, and with a chance for UNLV to leave too.
Adding UTEP and NMSU gets them back over 8. Then they look at FCS teams, Yahoo! mentioned Tarleton State and then there’s the Montana and Dakota universities.
Either way, that is a terrible conference. They go from their winner having a great shot at the playoff to being down at Conference-USA level.
