that, it made life easier on G-Bo as a passer and he had ok stats.  BYU has an awful run game...again.  G-Bo is incapable of the same production he had in 2021 given BYU's anemic rush attack.  Even then, G-Bo was benched for the last 3 games of the 2021 season including the XII title game.  After injury to Shapen, G-Bo played again in the Sugar Bowl.  He produced 40 yards passing in that game.  It was ALL rush attack for Baylor 2021.  I'm sure you remember well how insanely good they were on the ground when they took it to BYU in Waco.
