Coug98 Intervention Needed
Here's my hot take on Retzlaff. He struggled to take care of the football and
was anemic in leading the offense against SMU but did enough to win the game. I will give credit to SMU's defense contributing to Jake's struggles. I think Jake bounces back with a notable performance against Wyoming (similar to his performance in Week 1), which will cause the "all is well in Zion" crowd to ask where all the "Jake haters" are at on CB! The Jake train will be back in full force, with Arod and Kalani throwing out the coach speak during the week leading up to the K-State.

Anticipation will be high and the feeling will be that Jake has the ability to lead BYU to the upset win at home in a late night battle with K-State. Only to see Jake struggle against K-State and revert back to multiple turnovers and inability to move the football, and a long string of consecutive 3 and outs. I think our defense plays well to keep it within a couple scores for 3 quarters, but they get worn down and evenly give up a couple scores with the final score making the game seem not quite as close as it was.

I hope I'm wrong, but I expect Jake to have a great game against an inferior opponent that has struggled the first two weeks of the season only to struggle against P4 caliber competition the following week.
