I think Jay Hill is very much in the role/mindset of Bronco and Whittingham... just without the weirdness of Bronco and the complete Donkey Yewt of Whittingham. I found these comments on SMU's board to be very interesting and refreshing to hear about what BYU did and all credit goes to Jay Hill. Holmoe needs to open the purse to keep Jay Hill and do anything and everything he can to keep him if we want to be taken as a serious football program. Losing him would be really bad, in my opinion.
With that said... There was a couple of weeks ago in August practices where there was a scrimmage report where Jay Hill broke out the 3-3-5 against the offense and it was without question the worst offensive performance in all of summer practices. I believe that was the practice where both QB's threw 3 picks each.
